Cage Repairer (Poultry Live Haul)

Description

Primarily responsible for welding cages used to transport chickens, as well as ordering repair parts and maintaining inventory. Repair and maintain cages.Assist with loading and unloading cages as needed. Maintain proper inventory of tools and supplies.Assist with other relevant tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Welder certification required Adherance to animal welfare regulations required

Physical Requirements

• Travel regularly to assigned farms.
• Frequently lift 50+ lbs.
• Walk in an outside environment (including inclement weather conditions) on a daily basis.
• Constantly subject to dusty and hot environments.
• Frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
